CAStor

Caringo's CAStor provides a storage capability that is ideal for Aperio customers. CAStor clusters consist of easy to configure commodity x86 hardware that can scale to meet any company's archive needs. CAStor will introduce Test departments - and the IT groups that support them - to a best-in-class disk-based archive.

CAStor is very flexible and can be configured to deal with a wide variety of situations.


Aperio and CAStor

Aperio allows for seamless access to data in or out of the archive. Moving vital data to the CAStor archive ensures that the data will be available when needed in the future. Aperio knows about the data moved into the archive and allows queries to include all data in results.

Aperio's CAStor interface implements a direct HTTP connection to your CAStor cluster. Aperio allows you to configure a list of clusters to access, including disaster recovery sites; providing application based automatic failover in the case of emergency. Aperio replicator tasks can move data to your CAStor cluster.
