Press Release -- Aperio and CAStor Team Up!
"CAStor support through Aperio will be particularly attractive to many of our manufacturing companies as they begin to develop more formal data retention mechanisms with a desire to keep the data available", says Andrew Morehouse, Vice President of Engineering at Viewpoint. "CAStor allows companies to easily build a cost effective and scalable data archive solution. They can start small, grow their CAStor system as needed and be assured that Aperio and CAStor will allow them to locate and use their test data for years to come."
Aperio 2.0 is here!
We're pleased to announce the release of Aperio™ 2.0. Our product team has been working diligently to complete new functionality that will take our Aperio data management framework to the next level. The main focus of this release is to give Aperio customers more control over their data with:
- The ability to mine their data with custom defined queries
- The ability to visualize results using these custom queries and generate basic descriptive statistics
- The ability to create and modify myAperio Dashboard web pages
- Full text, "Google"-like searches, allowing users to find search terms in text fields throughout the Aperio catalog
- New storage infrastructure that allows Aperio to interface with standard Windows file systems as well as data archive systems like Caringo CAStor and Amazon S3 Elastic Storage -- read more here.
In this release, Aperio has also added a graphing and charting library, allowing Aperio users to identify hidden trends and relationships in their data. There will be new, more detailed activity reports for Aperio Administrators. We also continue to improve the performance and responsiveness of the entire Aperio system.
Aperio 2.0 will be available today so contact us for a personal online demonstration.
